Great service, the owners are very helpful, I had a problem with my sewing machine (which I purchased from them) and called them, the gentleman helped to solve it over the phone and saved me the journey because we live about one and a half hour away. Much appreciated wish them all the best🌿
What a wonderful place. I was given guidance to choose the best embroidery machine for my needs and within my budget. The couple who have the shop were lovely and suggested i would benefit a lesson how the machine works. This i had today at no charge. The lady who instructed me was extremely pleasant, answered all my questions and allowed me to practice on it, at my own pace. I will definately be using them again to supply my threads and accessories. It is pleasant to go somewhere where you are not being hounded to take out a loan for a more expensive and complicated machine.

Visited the shop today as they had a Babylock representative, Katie, there to demonstrate machines and answer questions. I had a number of queries and Katie gave me some great tips. I didn’t buy my Babylock from Sew Works but I’ll certainly get them to service. Great customer facing interaction. Thank you.
I'm so glad I got my Bernette from Sew Works. What a MARVELLOUS sewing shop. I visited a couple of times before making my choice and Claudette could not have been more patient . She took her time to show me the machines capabilities and allowing me to test them before making my choice. A very welcoming shop run by a couple who know their stuff. I wasn't rushed at all into making a decision. No pushy sales, but a genuine family run business giving high quality customer service. Thank you Claudette and Brett for taking the time to share your expert knowledge. Look forward to popping in again to stock up on some sewing supplies and to let you know how happy I am with my purchase, she works like a dream!

What can I say about SewWorks. Brett the owner is a true star . I have a temperamental pfaff 710. Brett sorted out the auto threader in a few days. I then found that the machine would not always work when using the footpedal. Brett took the machine in ...stripped it down ordered a new power supply ( which could not be returned once opened ) and fitted it ... the fault remained and he ordered a new power cable which resolved the issue. Brett refused to take payment for anything other than the cable despite having stripped the machine down and ordered the part.. I can only praise him and his ethics.... if you need anything to do with sewing machines and accessories use this business ... He is a true gentleman and deserves your custom ... he has mine for evermore

I recently purchased a Bernina 475QE from SewWorks and can’t recommend them highly enough. Brett and Claudette sent regular updates while the machine was being shipped to the UK. When I collected the machine, Claudette gave me a comprehensive lesson in its features and also some I would never have tried on my own. It gave me the confidence to use it straight out the box and I’m really thrilled with it. My previous machine was a starter model so the Bernina was a significant upgrade but definitely worth every penny. Brett tested the machine before I took it out the shop so I was reassured there wouldn’t be any problems when I got it home. They have a range of haberdashery and quality yarns to use with my Bernina as well as a full range of feet and accessories. Brilliant service, lovely people and great machines. What’s not to like?!
